Today was Rachel's first volleyball game. We made the trek to South Holt, and they won! It was so much fun watching her play. Rachel got a few good digs and several good serves. I could tell she was nervous, even if she won't admit it!

The purpose of this new blog is to shift the focus off of our loss, and celebrate the joys of being a family, while also keeping our family and friends updated on what is going on in our busy lives.
I also maintain another blog (see link below) that was started when my husband was battling cancer, and continued through his illness and death, and through our first year without him. At the one year anniversary of his death, I decided to change the direction of that blog and start another. With my other blog I can continue to journal on my feelings as a single mother/widow, and share and talk about melanoma and other cancers.
